Leading the RushTix project challenged our team to rethink what “live entertainment” means in a digital-first world. The platform wasn’t just about streaming comedy shows, it aimed to recreate the energy, spontaneity, and connection of an in-person performance, but for a global online audience. From the start, our mission was clear: build a digital venue that feels as engaging and interactive as a real club. One of the biggest responsibilities as a team lead was aligning the creative vision of performers with the technical expectations of viewers across different regions and devices. We had to craft an experience that felt smooth, responsive, and immersive, even during peak traffic or live audience participation. Ensuring low-latency streaming, enabling real-time reactions, and supporting varied show formats pushed us to design flexible, modular solutions. Throughout development, we collaborated closely with performers, producers, and operations teams to understand their workflow—how shows are scheduled, how ticketing should feel effortless, and how the platform could support interactive elements that keep the audience engaged. Translating these insights into a simple, intuitive interface became our core focus.
