Senior Node.js developers for backends under real load.
The Node.js and NestJS core under all nine FeelEat products was built by the senior Node.js developers you hire here. So were Aviatize’s auditable aviation ledger and the ticketing layer that holds when fifty thousand viewers arrive at once. All three run around the clock, and you work with those engineers directly.
How a backend project runs with us.
A paid discovery sprint
A senior architect scopes the backend with you: the data model, the integrations, and the load the system must handle on its busiest day. You get it all in writing: scope, architecture, a costed roadmap and the features we agreed not to build.
A fixed price for the build
Once the sprint is done, cost and timeline are fixed. We charge for the result, so no hourly meter runs while architecture decisions are being made.
A senior Node.js team ships in two-week iterations
The architect who scoped your backend stays on to build it. The team works in your repo, your stand-ups and your Slack, and ships reviewed, working backend code every two weeks.
The same engineers after launch
A backend has to keep working for years. The same engineers stay on for monitoring, dependency upgrades and new features; one CODT Technologies team has been extending the FeelEat platform for 9+ years.
Where our Node.js work already runs.
SaaS & multi-tenant platforms
Authentication, role-based access, tenant isolation, billing and audit logs on a Node.js and NestJS backend — the architecture pattern behind Aviatize and LeadTrack AI.
SaaS app developmentCustom product engineering
Custom platforms and regulated workflow systems, from research to architecture to build, with each major decision written up as an ADR.
Custom product developmentStreaming & real-time systems
The Node.js work under Bizzabo and RushTix: session start-up that survives traffic spikes, real-time interaction channels, and ticketing that puts people in a queue when demand jumps.
Audio & video streamingConnected devices & IoT
Fleet telemetry over MQTT into a Node.js backend — the pattern that keeps FeelEat’s connected fridges observable, restockable and chargeable around the clock.
IoT solutionsDevOps & cloud
CI/CD, infrastructure as code and observability around the backend — deployments that scale with your customer base while the cost graph stays predictable.

FeelEat — the Node.js backend under nine products
For FeelEat (Switzerland) one Node.js and NestJS platform grew into the company’s entire operating stack: connected fridges, kiosks, the ERP portal, workforce apps and demand forecasting all write to the same backend — built and extended by the same CODT Technologies team for 9+ years, under a business now valued at $10M+.
Aviatize — a compliance ledger in Node.js and TypeScript
For Aviatize (Belgium) we engineered a multi-tenant aviation platform in Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript: every flight, part and certificate lands on one auditable ledger, serving more than a thousand aircraft and crews on isolated tenants of one codebase — and audit prep collapsed from three days to a four-hour query.
Questions teams ask before hiring Node.js developers

Which production systems run on CODT Technologies' Node.js work?
The ones on this page, by name: the Node.js and NestJS spine under all nine FeelEat products, Aviatize’s aviation compliance ledger, the serverless Node.js authentication and ticketing layer behind Bizzabo’s 50K-viewer events, LeadTrack AI’s voice-agent pipeline and RushTix’s ticketed live shows. Every one links to its case study from this page or /portfolio.
Do you write plain Node.js or use a framework?
NestJS with TypeScript is our default for platform backends. It is the named stack on FeelEat, Aviatize and TapTime, because a new engineer can find their way around the codebase on day one. Where a different shape fits better (serverless functions, streaming pipelines), we build that instead and explain why in the architecture document.
Can Node.js handle real-time and spike load?
Two examples. Bizzabo’s Node.js authentication and ticketing layer queues huge join spikes, so fifty thousand viewers can arrive inside a minute without dropped frames. LeadTrack AI streams live call audio over WebSockets through a Node.js backend fast enough to keep a voice conversation natural.
Which databases and infrastructure do you pair with Node.js?
What the case pages show: MySQL or PostgreSQL as the system of record, Redis for caching and sessions, and ElasticSearch where search and analytics need it, all on AWS with infrastructure defined as code. We design the data model in the discovery sprint, before the build starts.
Can you take over a Node.js backend another team built?
Yes. We start with a short code and architecture audit that ends in a written remediation roadmap, then take over in phases while the system keeps running. We stabilise it first and only then start changing things.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do, all of it. The code, the architecture and the infrastructure configuration transfer to you at delivery. We only keep a copy for support if you allow it in writing, and we can sign an NDA before any detailed discussion.
How fast can Node.js developers start?
A senior engineer replies within one business day. Next comes a paid discovery sprint, which ends in a written scope and a fixed quote. The build team starts 4–5 business days after you sign the quote.
