One system from kitchen to payroll.
Restaurant management software puts orders, kitchen production, workforce and finance on one operational system, so the team stops juggling separate tools. CODT Technologies has spent 9+ years building exactly that for FeelEat, a Swiss foodtech operator: an ERP portal serving 200+ corporate clients, recipe-driven kitchen workflows and workforce apps, all on one architecture.
The four workflows the system runs.
Orders arrive self-service
Clients place, change and track orders directly in the portal, so staff no longer pass emails along or retype orders. On FeelEat’s ERP portal this runs across 200+ corporate clients, and voucher requests and event bookings go through the same system.
The kitchen cooks to the system
Recipes are stored as structured bills of materials that feed prep work orders, station assignments and batch tracking. With FeelEat’s Unified Recipe System, recipe consistency rose 47% and allergen incidents fell 82%.
Staff manage their own shifts
Staff clock in with NFC, QR or biometric verification and carry their hours, schedules and sign-offs in their pocket. FeelEat's employees app reached 96% adoption within thirty days; attendance accuracy holds at 99.5%.
A faster month-end close
Every order, shift and booking is already in one system, so reconciliation is quick. FeelEat’s sales close went from two days to roughly four hours, and each staff member got about twelve hours a week back.
Nine products for one client over 9+ years.
The FeelEat stack — a Swiss food business on one system
For FeelEat in Switzerland we built the entire operating stack over 9+ years: nine products on one architecture, shipped by one team. That covers the ERP portal for orders, schedules, records, vouchers and event bookings, the Unified Recipe System that runs kitchen production, the workforce and attendance apps, and the kiosks and connected fridges at the retail edge. Food-operations software is what we have been building for this client the whole time.
Questions operators ask about restaurant software
Mettilo in un brief. Un ingegnere senior — non un commerciale — ti risponde entro un giorno lavorativo.
What does restaurant management software actually cover?
The whole operating loop of a food business: order intake, kitchen production, workforce scheduling and attendance, and the finance view over all of it. Done well, every workflow writes to one system, and nobody reconciles five tools by hand at month-end.
Can it keep food consistent across several kitchens?
Yes. The recipe itself becomes the source of truth. FeelEat’s Unified Recipe System models dishes as layered recipes, so yields and allergens carry through correctly, and it feeds prep work orders at each station. New sites now get up to speed 60% faster.
What happens to the back office?
The office stops relaying calls and emails. On FeelEat’s ERP portal, orders, staff schedules, employee records, voucher requests and event bookings are self-service behind one login. That saves around twelve hours per staff member per week and cut sales reconciliation from two days to roughly four hours.
Does it handle staff scheduling and attendance too?
In the FeelEat stack, yes. Shift plans update in real time, employees check their hours and sign documents in their own app, and TapTime’s NFC, QR and biometric clock-in sends attendance straight to payroll.
Why custom software instead of an off-the-shelf restaurant system?
Because a real operation rarely fits a single product. FeelEat’s mix of corporate orders, kitchen production, vouchers, events and unmanned retail matched no off-the-shelf tool. A custom system built around how the team actually works was simple enough that staff needed no training to adopt it.
Who has CODT Technologies built this for, and for how long?
FeelEat, a Swiss foodtech operator, without a break for 9+ years. That is nine products on the same architecture, shipped by the same team, from the ERP portal to the kitchen workflow system to connected-fridge retail. The stack has been running real operations for that whole time.
How do we start?
First comes a paid discovery sprint, where we go through your order flow, your kitchen process and the back-office steps people still do by hand. You then get a fixed quote, before any build starts.
