An attendance app that feeds payroll directly.
An employee attendance app replaces paper timesheets with verified clock-ins: an NFC tap, QR scan or biometric check at the site, sent straight to the ERP that runs payroll. CODT Technologies built one that is in production: TapTime, for FeelEat’s Swiss teams across several sites. Attendance accuracy is 99.5%, payroll prep is roughly 80% faster, and buddy-punching fell by about 95%.
Clock-ins reach payroll without anyone re-typing them.
Clock in at the site
Staff clock in with an NFC tap on a tag fixed at the site, a QR scan or a biometric check, whichever suits the location. The clock-in is tied to the place as well as the phone.
The record writes itself
Every event is timestamped, cannot be edited and carries its own evidence: method, device, location and time. Employees see the same verified history as their managers, so a question about hours is answered by looking it up.
Managers see shifts live
Managers see who is on shift right now at every location, without piecing the week together from paper at the end. Rounding drift and typing errors never get into the record.
Hours go straight to payroll
Verified hours go into the payroll system with no re-typing. On TapTime this made payroll preparation roughly 80% faster.
Shipped for teams that run on shifts.
FeelEat TapTime — clock-in you can run payroll on
TapTime is FeelEat’s clock-in app for hourly staff in kitchens, logistics and retail sites in Switzerland. It supports NFC, QR and biometric check-ins and syncs every record in real time to the ERP that runs payroll. Device binding and verification make it impractical to clock in for a colleague, a clock-in takes about a second, and staff and managers can both check the full attendance history.
Questions teams ask about attendance apps
Mettilo in un brief. Un ingegnere senior — non un commerciale — ti risponde entro un giorno lavorativo.
What is an employee attendance app?
A mobile app that makes clock-in verifiable: employees check in at the site by NFC tap, QR scan or biometric confirmation, and every event lands in one tamper-resistant record synced to the system that runs payroll. It replaces paper timesheets, spreadsheet relays and the disputes they generate.
How does it stop buddy-punching?
By tying each clock-in to the site and to the person. Site-mounted tags, device binding and verification make it impractical to clock in a colleague. On TapTime, the attendance app we built for FeelEat, buddy-punching dropped by about 95%.
Which check-in methods can it support?
Three methods: NFC tap, QR scan and biometric check. Each site picks what suits it, since a kitchen, a loading dock and a shop floor work differently. All three write the same record format, so payroll always gets consistent data.
Does it integrate with our payroll or ERP system?
That is the point of the build: verified hours should land in the system that pays people, with zero re-keying. TapTime syncs attendance into FeelEat's ERP in real time, which made payroll preparation roughly 80% faster. We scope the integration against your actual payroll stack during discovery.
What do employees themselves get out of it?
Their own verified history. Hours, attendance and sign-offs are on their phone, where they can check them any time. On FeelEat’s companion employees app, 96% of staff adopted it within thirty days, and payroll accuracy is 99.8%.
How fast is a verified clock-in?
About a second: tap, confirm, done, and the gloves go back on. We kept it that fast on purpose, because a slow check-in tempts people to skip it. That is how attendance accuracy reached 99.5% without extra policing.
How do we start?
We begin with a paid discovery sprint to map your sites, the right check-in methods for each one and the payroll integration. At the end you have a fixed price for the build.
