Most first production releases land between $30,000–250,000+, by shape of build: a lean MVP with 2–3 engineers over 8–14 weeks at $30,000–55,000; a standard product with real integrations and an admin surface at $55,000–110,000; a complex platform — multi-tenant, regulated, or migrating beside a live system — at $120,000–250,000+. An AI voice agent v1 runs $25,000–60,000. Indicative band, not a quote — the fixed number comes out of a paid discovery sprint and is credited against the build.

The sprint is $2,900–4,900 over 1–2 weeks, and it is credited in full against the build that follows — so no, you never pay twice. What you keep is A written scope, a system architecture, a costed roadmap and an explicit “won’t build” list — yours to keep, and the document the fixed quote is written from. The first workshop and a high-level estimate are free — usually back within three working days.

Rates are per engineer, per month, on a dedicated engagement — from $4,100 at the engineering and delivery end to $9,000 for the most senior AI and machine-learning specialists. A typical squad of 4 engineers plus a delivery lead runs $19,000–24,000 a month, and teams of four or more carry a $1,300 project-management allocation. A working month is 160 hours with a four-to-six-hour overlap with your business hours.

Not as a headline, because an hour is an input and what you are buying is a working system. We quote a monthly rate for a named engineer you keep, or a fixed price against a signed scope. Time and material is available when scope is genuinely evolving — billed per hour with a timesheet attached to every invoice, 40 hours a month minimum.

Three fixed plans: Essential at $550 a month for 15 hours, Standard at $1,050 for 30 hours with a four-hour critical response, and Premium at $1,950 for 60 hours with a named engineer and a one-hour critical response. Every launch carries a 30-day warranty before any plan starts. Annual support typically runs at 15–20% of the original build cost.

Two things, and we say them before you ask. Cloud and licence fees — billed by AWS, Azure or GCP directly, or passed through at cost with the invoice attached. No margin is added. VAT, GST and local sales taxes. Everything else — engineering, design, QA, project management, deployment — is inside the quote.

All work product and source code belong to you on payment. 100% of the IP transfers — no lock-in, no per-seat licence. An NDA is signed before any technical discussion, and a DPA with standard contractual clauses is signed as standard. Notice is 30 days for up to four engineers and 60 days for five or more, with no exit fee — the commercial protection runs both ways.

Yes. A fixed price against a signed specification, paid on milestones — priced from the same rates plus a risk buffer. Requires a paid discovery sprint first. A fixed price written against an unknown scope is either a guess or a trap, so the sprint comes first — and it is credited in full against the build.
