Hire CODT Technologies

Flutter developers with apps in the stores today.

Flutter already runs in production in apps we built: the FeelEat app that unlocks connected fridges for 40K+ users, attendee apps for Bizzabo’s event platform, and RushTix’s app for ticketed live shows. Each has one codebase for iOS and Android, and the senior Flutter developers who built them are the team you hire. The FeelEat app is also a migration story. Its first version shipped as native iOS and Android WebView shells, and in 2023 the same team rebuilt it in Flutter, so we have worked on both sides of that choice.

How the engagement works

One codebase for iOS and Android.

  1. A paid discovery sprint

In one week we check whether Flutter suits your product, then list the device integrations and offline states the shared codebase has to handle on both platforms.

  2. A fixed scope and price

The fixed-scope estimate follows the sprint and covers the iOS and Android builds together, since both come from one codebase. Cost and timeline are set before development starts.

  3. A senior Flutter team ships every two weeks

Every two weeks the one Flutter codebase produces a new iOS build and a new Android build, so you test both platforms at the same time. The backend API grows alongside it in the same team.

  4. Launch, store submission and ongoing care

We submit both builds to the stores and phase the rollout. Afterwards the engineers who wrote the app keep it on current Flutter SDK releases and new OS versions, and add features.

What the team covers

Flutter, design, hardware and the backend.

Flutter & cross-platform engineering

We pick Flutter when one codebase serves the business, and native Swift and Kotlin when the product needs it. We build both and back the choice with evidence.

Mobile app development

UI / UX design

We design with the same Flutter widgets the app ships, so what you approve in the prototype is what appears on iOS and Android. User research and journeys come first.

Connected hardware & IoT

Flutter apps that talk to physical fleets. The FeelEat app unlocks connected fridges and charges on door close, over live MQTT telemetry from every unit.

IoT solutions

The backend behind the app

The API, sign-in, payments and telemetry behind your Flutter app come from the same team. In the FeelEat app, for example, payments run through Stripe on a backend we wrote.

Flutter apps that real businesses run on.

FeelEat Happy Fridge — a Flutter app that runs a shop

FeelEat’s mobile app, built in Flutter on a Node.js and NestJS backend, is the menu, the key and the checkout for a fleet of connected fridges. You browse the daily menu, scan to unlock, take your meal and get charged when the door closes. With 40K+ downloads, it carries a Swiss unmanned-retail business valued at $10M+.

Bizzabo & RushTix — Flutter apps for live audiences

For Bizzabo’s Event Experience OS we built the Flutter attendee apps next to the React web app, for broadcasts that peak above 50K concurrent viewers. For RushTix, the Flutter app and the React site share one GraphQL API, and the median time to join a live show is 2.4 seconds.

Questions teams ask before hiring Flutter developers

Anything we missed?

Put it in a brief. A senior engineer reads it and replies within one business day.

Which production apps has CODT Technologies built with Flutter?

Named and linked on this page: the FeelEat Happy Fridge app (scan-to-unlock retail, 40K+ downloads), the Flutter attendee apps for Bizzabo’s event platform, and RushTix’s mobile app for ticketed live shows.

Flutter or React Native — which should we choose?

Choose React Native if your team already knows React and TypeScript and you want to share logic with a web app; its ecosystem and hiring pool are bigger. Choose Flutter if you want the UI to look identical on every platform and Dart doesn’t bother you. Both are ready for production. Your team’s current skills and any chance to share web code should decide it. We ship both.

When would you tell us not to use Flutter?

When the evidence points elsewhere. Heavy platform integration, camera or background work, or a single-platform audience all favour native. We have made that call against cross-platform on our own projects: FeelEat’s workforce app went native iOS and Android because the product needed it. You get the recommendation with reasons.

Can a Flutter app talk to hardware?

Yes, ours already do. The FeelEat app is the key to a physical fridge fleet, and every fridge reports back over MQTT. In our IoT practice, Flutter work sits next to NFC, BLE and embedded engineering.

Do you handle submission to both app stores?

Yes. The one Flutter codebase gives us an iOS build and an Android build, and we take both through review: store listings, privacy labels, test accounts for the reviewers and any questions they send back. The engineers who wrote the code handle this, so the people answering a reviewer can also change the code.

Who owns the app and its code?

You own it all: the Flutter codebase, the designs and the intellectual property transfer at delivery. With your written permission we keep a copy for support, and we sign an NDA on request.

How fast can Flutter developers start, and what happens after launch?

A senior engineer replies within one business day. Next comes a paid discovery sprint, which ends in a written scope and a fixed quote. The build team starts 4–5 business days after you sign the quote. After launch the team stays on call for 30 days, and most clients then move to a retainer with the engineers who built the app.
