The FeelEat product suite

All work

FeelEat is a Swiss food retailer that sells meals from smart fridges. CODT Technologies has built and run its whole software suite for 9+ years: the FeelEat Happy Fridge app, the self-service kiosk, TapTime attendance, the admin and client portals, the employees app, the recipe system, the forecasting model and the HappyBee parent app. Each product below has its own case study.

Suite FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Anything we missed?

Put it in a brief. A senior engineer reads it and replies within one business day.

What is the FeelEat suite?

The full foodtech platform CODT Technologies built for FeelEat, a Swiss smart-fridge retail operator: connected fridges, self-service kiosk, mobile app, admin portal, workforce apps and kitchen workflow — one connected ecosystem.

Who built FeelEat's platforms?

CODT Technologies engineered every product in the suite end to end — and the same team has shipped every release across a 9+ year partnership.

Which products make up the suite?

The FeelEat Happy Fridge app and smart fridges, the self-service kiosk, the admin portal, the employees app, TapTime clock-in, the smart client portal, the Unified Recipe System, the forecasting model and the HappyBee parent app.

How do the products work together?

They share one data spine: fridge, kiosk and app read the same live inventory, attendance flows into the ERP that runs payroll, and structured recipes drive kitchen execution.

How long has CODT Technologies worked with FeelEat?

For 9+ years. The same CODT Technologies team has shipped every release of the suite in that time, from the first FeelEat Happy Fridge app to the forecasting model, and still runs the platforms today. It is our longest client engagement, and the one with the most products in production.

What is TapTime?

TapTime is FeelEat's attendance kiosk: a phone with an NFC badge reader in a 3D-printed case. Staff tap their badge to clock in or out, and the record flows into the admin portal. If someone forgets to clock out, the day goes to their manager for approval, and admins assign badges from the portal.

What is HappyBee?

HappyBee is a parent-facing app built by the same CODT Technologies team for Swiss schools. It belongs to FeelEat's sister company, not a subsidiary. Parents see the weekly school menu, the nutrition values of each dish and what their child ate; across 120+ onboarded schools, allergen questions to schools fell by 71%.

What does the Forecasting Model do?

It plans what each fridge should hold. The model reads buying history and patterns, who works at that site, the day's weather and the dish mix, mains, desserts and drinks, vegan, vegetarian, fish or chicken, and price, and proposes the dishes and quantities for each fridge. FeelEat's team reviews the plan instead of building it from scratch.
